I really enjoyed our visit, it is a fully vegan establishment and, although I'm not vegan myself, I was happy to 'give it a go', the food was really interesting and the service very pleasant. This would be to perfect quiet retreat for a young vegan couple. I definitely recommend it, I felt comfortable and relaxed here, it is very laid back and welcoming. This is the place how I ever imagined Toscany. The view is breathtaking, the buildings are so authentic, the hosts are so kind and true hospitable couple. The kitchen was amazing, so resourceful, delicious vegetarian dishes were served, so if you stay in Certaldo, I definetly recommend reservation here.

We had dinner here while we were staying in Certaldo Alto. A fully vegan and delicious, creative menu. The most beautiful setting, and they only seat 8 people a night, so it felt really special and we were brilliantly looked after. It was a really memorable and special meal. Not cheap, but worth it for a real treat!

We booked in advance as we were in Certaldo on a Monday and we were the only people in the restaurant. The service from the co-owner was impeccable - he even gave me a stool for my purse! The food was incredible and each course was a delight. Vegan fine dining in the middle of Tuscany in a medieval fortified village! Only this restaurant (and b&b) and Il Castello in Certaldo Alto have panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside and the setting is stunning. One of the best evening meals I've ever had because of the food, the excellent wine and cocktail (and finally a non-alcoholic beer!) the views, the atmosphere (soft bossa nova playing and excerpts of an orchestra rehearsing in the church nearby). If I were to return to Certaldo, I'd eat here again in a heartbeat.

We had our dream vegan wedding feast at Osteria del Vicario. Erik and Eleonora were exceptional hosts and made our day so special and stress free. The food was full of flavour, colour and using fresh seasonal ingredients - we couldn't have asked for a tastier example of vegan cuisine! The views from the terrace are breathtaking, and the Tuscan countryside was the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The whole evening felt like a dream!

I can absolutely recommend the dinner experience, even if you’re not an overnight guest. Very exclusive, mind-blowing taste combined with a spectacular view of Tuscany! We had the surprise menu and my vegan and non-vegan friends were equally impressed by the flavours. Hats off to the chef, who was absolutely lovely and so was the host.
